This workshop considers four aspects of Creative Writing across four different sessions to explore the ways fiction and non-fiction writing can be approached creatively and individually. It considers ideas such as source materials, mapping a narrative, embellishing language and more. Designed for enjoyment, the course does not require special skills or prior experience in this field of interest. The course sessions are designed s follows:

Week 1 – Writing the Short Story
Week 2 – Writing the Autobiography
Week 3 – Letter Writing: Writing to Loved Ones Creatively
Week 4 – Contemporary Poetry: Writing Poetry without Rhyme
